What do you think I can sell these old TVs for?

My parents have a couple old TVs that they'd like to sell....I'm wondering what the value of these could be? Obviously, they would need to be sold locally.

Both TVs were purchased around 1994-1996. One is a 40" Mitsubishi CRT (fish tank kind obviously). It was the first 40" CRT if I recall. It was something like $4000

The other is a Sony 60" projection. At the time I think it retailed for about $3k.

I'm thinking they'd be worth around $400 each to a local buyer? Anyone?

Look on eBay.

My brother sold his old $5K Sony Wega 55(?)" projection TV to a local buyer via eBay and got $350.

He's happy with his new Samsung 1080p 61" DLP.

I checked eBay and found a few exact models of the 40" Mitsubishi that were sold as well as some similar Sony 60" projection.

Looks like the Mitsubishi is worth $150-250, and the Sony $300-600. Funny that the Sony is now worth more than the CRT was...but I can understand it
