The FBI photos of the 19 hijackers

I am just curious what type of feelings we all get now compared to one year ago.

I am still violently angry, but also actually have some compassion.
I know that the muslim dictatorships and the muslim religion in general teaches these people to be warriors that protect their faith and because of poverty and lack of freedom these people are easily brainwashed.

Anyhow, it is still so shocking and horrifying for me when I look at their pictures. I try hard not to sterotype or make broad generalizations about all muslims - but then I feel less safe.

Ramble Ramble- I just needed to get some of this out.

PEACE

For clarification:

The 19 names of suspected hijackers released by the FBI don't point to Afghanistan. They come from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates; all across the middle east without a focus in any one region. Indeed, even as the FBI was admitting that its list of 19 names was based solely on identifications thought to have been forged, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Saudi Al-Faisal insisted that an investigation in Saudi Arabia showed that the 5 Saudi men were not aboard the four jet liners that crashed in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania on September 11. "It was proved that five of the names included in the FBI list had nothing to do with what happened," Al-Faisal told the Arabic Press in Washington after meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush at the White House. A sixth identified hijacker is also reported to still be alive in Tunisia, while a 7th named man died two years ago!

That's a nice, objective, unbiased source you're quoting there... Damn, I need to visit that site more often.

HendrixFan,
Believing that information provided on that page would be like getting a newsletter from the Democratic party that announces the fact that the Republicans are the only ones that lie and you can get all the unbiased testimony you need to back this up from the Democratic party memebership roles. Huh?? You need some serious assistance in sorting through obviously biased journalism.

Two of those guys were on TV within a week here in the US saying they (obviously) werent the hijackers. Those 19 photos were the people who were the owners of the seats on the planes believed to be taken by the hijackers. It became quickly apparent that many of the hijackers used fake identification (stolen) to board the planes.\

Please try and discredit the information, not the source. The Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia mentioned five of the guys misidentified after meeting with President Bush last year. You dont trust the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia as a source?

I think the guy in the third row, four people to the right looks like Deion Sanders. That's all. If we all started stereotyping people as terrorists by the way they looked it would turn ugly.
