So at the beginning of the summer, I got this job writing Java code. At the time, one of my coworkers was working on a different project in Java. A couple weeks ago, he left for another department so I was assigned his project.

Earlier today I was working on it, and I wrote a few lines of code, and then I looked at them, and I KNEW that I had seen them before. I'm almost positive I had a dream or something a while ago after talking to him about the project, and saw these lines of code. Freaked me out...

Your brain crossing wires of the processes dealing with storing information about the present and recalling events from memory.

Outside of that, I'm pretty sure that neuroscience has yet to completely understand deja-vu. This and lucid dreaming has always interested me when dealing with the human brain, I always want to study/experiment with it but I never get around to it.

Thinking you've seen or experienced whatever, in the past, which in fact may or may not be true.

I was heavily into lucid dreaming and had just broken through the beginning barries and learned to really start to explore and control my dreams when I stopped. I can't remember why but something came up and I stopped actively working towards it and I haven't had a single lucid dream since :(
