What do you think about your gf's ex boyfriends?

My girlfriend's ex was kind of a tool. He continued to buy her birthday and Christmas gifts even after she dumped him and we had been going out for a year. Finally, after two years, the gifts stopped. :|

she doesn't have one :)

Don't even know what I would think if she did. To think that at one time she loved another man just seems weird to me.

90% of the world seems okay with that type of thing.

I'm in the 10% then, I guess. I don't have much of a dating history but I really wish I could say to my current (and final) that he's also the only, ever.

wow. the chances of the first bf/gf being someone you want to spend your life with (after initial euphoria wears off, i mean) are really slim. most people need a few relationships just to figure out what their preferences are.

cheers!

Depends on how early you start dating, I guess. If you have a wide variety of friendships over the years, and achieve a decent age before engaging in romantic relationships, I think it's not as chancy as one would think.

Ever read "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" before HotChic?

Sounds like it's something you might be interested in.

I don't really give a flying fvck as long as it stays her ex.

That's all I'm going to say about that subject.

:) I'm glad Josh Harris found something that worked for him, but he writes his book like his way is the only way. I can agree with some of the things he says, but he legislates it, and I find his style to be a pita.

Currently, nothing as my current gf doesn't have any ex's. Past gfs, well, their ex's were scum for the most part.

My wife and I both had never really dated anyone. I had a few "it's a summer thing" relationships. We did start dating at 19, and married by 22 though. :D

Oh, i agree w/ your opinion of Harris' book. Darn Focus on the Family and their propaghanda.
