AG Neovo E-19A I Did buy one today 🙂

I like all the reviews and I love the 3 mm glass front cause I have Kids!

Anyone recommend another glass covered front LCD? NEC make one? I think Think this is a must have... the glass that is

EDIT 4/14 I got this Monitor Yesterday after getting back From Destin It was sitting at the FedEx Depot just waiting for me. Funny thing is I ordered a NEC 1760V as well and they sent me a 1760NX! woohoo DVI

Anyhow the AG Neuvo Is Georgeous!!! Super Crisp I have had about 5 LCD's and this is the Tops. Even Beatin the Planar PX191M-BK which is awesome and that I got for $280 from Dell during that HD in November. Colors are very true bright but not washed out. Glare on the Crystal 3mm coating is minimal. If you are in a bright room looking from an obtuse angle it looks like the panel was made by OAKLEY LoL 😎 If you are in a bright room looking at a dark part of the screen if you try to see a reflection you can see it yet it is an Oakly purple/blue color. In a darker room no problem.

I have ZERO Dead pixels!!! I do have a small imperfection that appears to be a bit of dust between the crystal and the panel that would be on the toolbar on the far edge of the panel.

I love the Crystal surface /w kids a soft porus LCD is a BAD Idea!

That's the largest glass covered LCD you'll find. There's one person here who has one, do a search for neovo.... He loves it. Says there's no ghosting. I've looked at them at CompUSSR before, and they do have a great picture due to that glass cover...

I think the glass cover makes the screen have better contrast. The one NEC has doesn't look like glass and more like a thin plastic film. The reflection that comes off of it looks distorted.

ahh ok this company is supposed to have the trendy market but the byproduct has heen great products...

The NEC 1565 and 1765 have an acrylic cover. even so it's looks good, albeit being overpriced and not have a DVI input.

Best Buy carries the Xerox XG70 and XG90 which I haven't heard anything about, but most of the B&M stores have them. they have a glass panel in the front.

I think those are good idea because for some reason whenever people want to point something out they are always touching my g0dd@mn screen and poking at the lcd.. :|

yup I got a 19 month old and a 3 yo I need a profalatic!

I went ahead and bought that LCD Ouch $668!!! Too bad Dell does Tax in Ky the 2001 Are $150 more and that is way too much!

please tell us how you like this monitor!! And have you done any gaming with it? I am thinking about buying it

Where can i check it out in person?

Pretty nice display, but I don't know if I'd like 1280x1024 on a 19". I think it would look too big for my taste in everyday use. I bet 1600x1200 would rule on a 19" LCD IMHO, but then finding games that wouldn'd chug down your GPU at 1600x1200 would be another issue...

My personal thought on all of these 19" ~$600 LCD's out today is, after seeing the huge difference with DVI makes vs. VGA and the fact that almost every card mfr'ed in the last 5 years has a DVI out on it, why aren't these LCD mfr's just throwing DVI inputs on these things by default? I've even noticed ghosting on 15ms LCD's when using VGA, but as soon as you hook up a good DVI cable, it's like someone wiping mud from your eyes...

i have read where these AG glass-covered lcds have terrible glare and reflection (you can see your reflection in the glass) hopefully this isnt the case, but it might be something to be concerned about.
also, there was a review at tomshardware using the sony lcd that had a similar glass front. they didnt like it due to that one also having terrible glare/reflection
