Dare I even think about gaming with this laptop??? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,

A friend of mine had an Avertec laptop at school (along with his desktop). He was pretty hard core into DJing, web authoring, photoshop, etc... and was generally very knowledgeable abouut hardware. He loved his Avertec which he got for under $1000. As for gaming, I'm sure it will be able to handle some games and keep you occupied. A desktop pentium 4 @ 2.8ghz, 512mb ram, and a 9600 pro should give you a good punch!
