i think they suck, at least based on my experience... wayy too loud and definitely not effective for the crazy noise it makes.

I have used two, 1 CPU fan (the Golden Orb to get a P3 700E to 1000+) and 1 GPU fan (the Crystal Orb, since my stock 9700 Pro fan broke) and both have been excellent for me.

I just bought a new Speeze fan for the same mobo/CPU my Thermaltake Chrome Orb was cooling. The difference was about 30F cooler with the Speeze.

Well I have a friend that buys all Thermaltake products. I have a couple myself. I have to say that most of these products are of great quality. What led me to this post was that in my LAN Party post. I informed everyone that Thermaltake is sponsoring us and I'd be handing out some of these products. Tabb starts bashing thermaltake in my post. I asked him to please don't bash my posts. He then followed up with one more bash. So I felt that If I created a post about thermaltake he could do his bashing here and stay the _ _ _ _ out of mine!

Thermaltakes are overhyped.

Mine still gives me cpu temps of 59c idle with a 2700+ AThlon.
