I finished it a couple days ago . I think it's better than most he's put out in the last few years.

The current issue of Entertainment Weekly has a 2-chapter excerpt. Cell phone users turning into flesh-eating maniacs. Sounds more like a social statement than a novel

A) That book is several months old now, not "new"

2) There are a few threds about it already

III) Don't read it if you love the series. Just let it go..

I'm thinking about picking up this book but haven't read any of Stephen Kings books.

Is it worth the read?

I'm finishing the 2nd book tonight and picking up the 3rd tomorrow. It's quite discouraging to hear all of this talk about the final book. I just hope it's not all a dream or an illusion right before he dies or something stupid like that. Give me a real ending.

It was OK, not great. Sort of like the "light" version of The Stand. If you haven't read that book yet, get a copy, it's much better than Cell.

dave is right htough. get a copy of the stand (uncut version). its a really good book
