Hi, I just like to ask for your opinions whether you would recommend the Gigabyte GA-6OXT as a decent board (its very cheap) for a Tualatin Celeron 1.0A Ghz CPU, as I need a new system (cheap/value) since my old one has had its days.

Here's what I was thinking of buying:

Celeron T 1.0A Ghz
Gigabyte GA-6OXT
128MB Crucial RAM

Here' what I have left from my old system to bring over:

Seagate Barracuda ATA/66 7200 20.4GB
Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 TV-OUT 64MB
Samsung 6X DVD
Soundblaster Live Player
250W PSU + Case
17in Monitor, speakers, mouse, KB, etc,

I was also wondering what's the performance like of the CPU campared to PIII/PVI, I might be interested to go for a 1.2 Celeron for an extra 20 bucks or just overclock the 1.0A, but i don't know, what do you think? any advice,

thanks

Did you get this setup? If so, please post your experience with it. I haven't had much luck with it so far. Edit: Actually, you should be fine. My problem was I was trying to use a Celeron 366 chip (PPGA) which this Universal Socket 370 board does not support.
