It is a really nice card, but nonetheless I'm not sure when teh 6800 GT prices going down. Depends on when the other next generation cards coming out.

Excellent choice for AGP user. It's nV reference design and has high end caps and such.. should be fine.

Prices wont fall until R520 comes out and nV has to drop prices. That if they lower them at all.

I was actually lookin to buy the same video card. I was also wondering if they were trustworthy cuz it seems that no one has reviewed it yet. Im limited to $270-$300 price range. But I like the blue color more than all the other cards in that price range with stock design. Anyone own one?

i would get the evga one, i think its 289 or something. evga is a very trusted brand and is the best one with BFG for nvidia cards. i own one and i say its very fast, like nothing i have ever seen.

Prices will surely drop in mid-August because the 7800/7600 series cards will be coming out. Hell, there might even be a better performing card than the 6800gt when the next gen mid-ranged cards come out.

Nvidia probably wont have to drop prices. ATI will probably have to considering they're losing money anyways.

Last time i checked though, Nvidia has been dropping prices a good bit (even on the 7800gtx).
