What do you think about Sean Hannity's debating style

I think he completely lacks any debating style. He is not very intelligent, all his is is a Limbaugh wannabe and his "style" consists of shouting over anyone who disagrees with him. I actually used to like him until I heard him with a PETA rep. The PETA person could not say a word without Sean screaming over her.
Now Rush OTOH is an intelligent man.

He usually talks over his guests when they go into a diatribe and don't answer the question.

Sean Hannity is as bad as it gets. Worse than O'Reilly.

The only reason people believe anything he says is because they don't bother to give it any thought, or check any facts. If they would just think about what he's saying objectively, they'd see how little he makes sense.

Fox News did a great job of "balancing" Hannity's ultra-conservatism with Colmes, a centrist.

Or if they just disagree with him. The man is a moron. How he got where he is puzzles me to no end. And I am a conservative Republican.

I can't stand polical extremists of any sort.

I dislike Hannity and Rush just as much as I do Micheal Moore.

I heard him on the radio one day talking to Howard Dean. (I think it was Sean Hannity talking to him, I was trying to find something on the radio worth listening to). There was no shouting or anything, he and Dean talked, and it was interesting to listen to. I don't know if it would really classify as a debate, it was more of an interview I guess.

Hey, what's the deal about the US being "deeply troubled" over the assassination of Shiek Yassin. Good riddance to the murdering ba$tard.

That has nothing to do with this topic. There is an extensive thread on P&N regarding this. We can discuss this via PM if you wish.

Compared to Colmes, he's a genius. I think Alan's a good guy but he generally can't put together a cogent argument.

Why would they want someone who could? It doesn't play to the audience and make no mistake, this is NOT news, it's entertainment. That is why Holmes acts as he does. It draws a certain market segment.

The thing I like about Hannity is that he keeps the debate on topic, he doesn't allow his guests to obfuscate, and he hammers home the salient points.

Bullsh!t, he gets all hysterical and brings ups points that have no basis all the time. He's nothing more than yappy mouthpiece for Karl Rove. On the other hand Colmes for the most part keeps calm and usually stays on topic. The reason Hannity seems to get the better of Colmes is that he interupts him constantly and shouts him down when he is losing the debate.

On the other hand, there are plenty of worthless leftist shows too. Just as many as the right-wing has. Politics is retarded, eh? It's not the fact that "the right wing is made up of idiots", or "the left wing is retarded", but more of a "politics turns people into blathering idiots".

hah, but left wing shows are far and few between, like finding a jewish nazi. and when i've found em, they are disgusting to me for the same reasons i dislike right wing shows. the sad fact is people listen to ring wing garbage and aren't even embarassed they are. seem to revel in the lack of critical thought and constant lowering level of discussion spewed on a daily basis...its just sad.
