So I started hanging out with this cool guy about a month ago, we're just friends, and we're gone out to some clubs, hung out a few times. He's a nice guy an everything, but just about every converstation me or my other friend have with him is about getting ass. And it seems like everytime he can't hang out, it's because he's hooking up with some random person he met online.

Outside of his mission to get ass - there's not much more to him. Every conversation drifts to what random hookups he had this week, the size of some other dude's tool, or any other magical abilities this hookup can perform. :roll:

I'll admit that I'm not a typical guy - I don't talk usually about sex to my friends, because, well - that's none of their business. I realize that some of this may be typical guy talk, but there has to be more to a friendship than vapid conversation about a person's sexual conquests. :frown:

Just a random tangent. I asked him if he wanted to go to a surprise birthday party tomorrow, but the conversation quickely deviated to his topic of choice.

Maybe he's just being an asshat for talking about ass all the time? If he always talks about the same thing over and over again there might not be anything more to him than him being an ass grabber?

I've actually met a few of his "hookups" in person, any many of them locally known to be manwhores themselves (at least - according to everyone else I hang out with).

I hang out with him, because outside of him talking about guys, he's pretty interesting. He's a set designer for Ripley's Believe it or not, and he's on summer vacation here in FL. He doesn't really hang out with anyone else - so I feel almost obligated.

Well damn; I've been here long enough. You would think I'd remember something so...extraordinary.

Well...I guess, even if your sexual preferences are all bent out of shape, sex is sex.

But then again, normal people (Yes, I realize what I just said. Gay people are not normal.) eventually develop an attachment to someone and either move in together or get married. Gay folks do the same thing...or try to do the latter. Unless they're in CA or MA (damn "A" states...) they go nowhere.

So anyway, you're friend is a sex fiend. He likes to look, and see and get his rocks off. He's a Male Gay Slut. I guess that's what it's called.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Within your own community, he's a slut. To the rest of the world, he's just a gay guy.

But I guess your situation would be like me hanging out with a bunch of girls and talking about nothing but sex, in which case one or more of us would be sluts, and one or more of us would want sex with one or more of the others.
