What do you think about our game idea: Pigsodus

We are 3-piece independent game studio based in Cracow - it’s my wife, me and our friend Jerry. I’d like to present you our idea and what we’ve made so far. It is a story about pig taking revenge on hideous butcher, covered with science and magic. It’s made in retro-style, we call it an oldschool story-based 2D RPG, but maybe you’ll have something better. Take a look at it, tell us what you think, it is very short but you know, progress is being made slowly. In this build you can run away from wolves, have a talk with a cow and discover the Pigsodus forest. Hope you’ll like it.

I think it's hard to say - it has a lot to do with 'how well it's done'. The description sounds like a low-cost casual game found in bundles, but like it might be fun.

What's the attraction of the game - the story? The roleplaying? The dialogue? The combat? The humor if it's humorous?

I didn't sign up so only go to the very low-res pixelated home page. Hope that's not the game graphic resolution.

We are strongly focusing on story (let's say it's about a pig that went angry an plans to take revenge on a butcher). It's filled with dark, sarcastic humor, pixelated blod and weird characters - I would recommend it for rather mature audience. We've came up with some uncommon features (like alternative fighting system that is based on rhythm of typing) - take a look at our blog entry on 'why could you possibly like Pigsodus'
And the game design is internationally PixelArt-type. We are big fans of Monkey Island retro games in general. It will look like that:
