im not the type to buy a new PC that often, the only thing i usually upgrade is getting more ram, and a better video card. my PC even though its stable, just can't cut it in todays games.

i could get the x1950xt for the same price at newegg, but i read that it runs very hot and very loud. that means if i want to run it quite, i need an aftermarket cooler which will add to the cost. therefore, im choosing this card which has a very good cooler on it stock. probably upgrade in the future when better stable cards comes out. thought about the 320mb 8800gts, but heard about the alt-tab bug, nvidia did say they will come out with a fix sometime late this month or september. im not holding my breath.

fans for the system memory. not for O/C purposes, but jsut to keep it stable. in my system, my ddr1 memory is hot to the touch. im thinking ddr2 mem runs cooler though because of the lower volts.

guaranteed G0 stepping as opposed to newegg. same price as well. looks like they sold out htough, darn. gonna give em a call or something to see when new batches comes in.
don't wanna risk getting a B3 from the egg. anyone know a different reliable place to get a guarantee G0 stepping??
not waiting for AMD's new cpu. IMO, only reason they are quiet is because it doesn't perform to their standards. like the way they were hush hush with the 2900 video card.
total cost = 1500 USD after tax, and shipping
