What do you say to those who leave their wireless signal open?

At work, We built a entirely separate network that's just wide open wireless internet access. no wep, no login, just a router. Just whip out your laptop and your online.
Just wanted to make it easy for visitors and other meeting folks to get quick and easy internet access without compromising our domain. The strategicly placed antenna's make it very hard to pick up the signal outside of our building.

Our domain network is strictly hard-wired with no wireless access.

"Thanks" if it's on purpose, and "I'll be downloading child pr0n now" if it's an accident. ;)

Lol. I've tested it, and unless someone parked a van outside our house, which we'd notice, no one could get to our signal, even with a pringle-tenna.

"really?" is often what i say. for either "what.. is it bad?" in which case i sigh, or "sure, free internet for all" in which case i bust out the laptop :D

XD, same here, when Road Runner (bright house) fizzles out, onto my neighbor's connection I go, one has BellSouth DSL, and the other has Road Runner (turns out there was a problem with the wire coming up to my house from the box, so that doesn't happen anymore, its all fixed).

Mine's open on purpose.

I tried using the WPA, stupid USB wireless thing doesn't support it - even though the literature that it came with said it does

Had MAC filter turned on, until it one day just up and stopped working - Router still has all of them stored in it, but it wasn't letting anything through - even the programmed MACs.

So I finally decided to stop messing with it and switched it off. Tired of dealing with it.

I say nothing. I love using their wireless.
