What do you recommend for a NF7 and Barton 2500+

Man that bios has so many more settings than my KG7.

My chip was automatically detected as a 3200+ though, but I had to set it back down to a 2500+ to install windows. What settings do you recommend?

I also have 2x512 pc3200 400mhz ddr running in dual channel mode. Any help is appreciated :)

If that's decent 3200DDR I'd go for at least 420-430DDR dual channel synch mode, the multiplier@10.5 and just bump the voltages- vcore, vdd, and vdimm till it's stable. If it just won't stabilize drop the multiplier to 10, or set it back to 11 and settle for 200fsb or so and hopefully higher clockspeed. The returns after 400DC-DDR synch mode are rapidly diminishing for most tasks anyhow so it won't be a performance hindurance if you can push the clockspeeed a bit further that way.

Unfortunately there's no set formula, but getting to at least 400DC-DDR synch mode and 3200+ speed or higher is the goal so tweak and test till you get there is the best advice I can offer.

first things first i would unlock the multiplier if it isn't already unlocked. drop it to 10x. crank up the fsb to atleast 200 and run the ram in synchronous mode(1:1). then if your ram behaves you can crank the fsb mup little by little. and 11x multi can usually be handled easily if the ram doesn't want to go up much and you still want to take the proc up higher.

What else should I tweak? Do I leave the AGP at 66?
should I update to the latest bios? I have a revision 2.0 board

Leave the multiplier alone and just up the FSB past 200 and see if it's stable for now. Once you hit a wall there, lower the multiplier and jack the bus up some more and repeat. Once you find the fastest combination, stick with it. Just watch your temps and try to keep em below 60 for complete stability.

temps are at 39C right now... I just have to get my system completely setup and installed first... then I'll try the OC :)
