Hey guys.

I'd just like to see all your opinions on this. What program would you use to consider your CPU hot or not? ...

cold? sounds good
hahah

okay. well im sure for one thing that TAT is a good program. but would you be looking towards your Core 0 and Core 1 temps or a temp of your CPU at like.. speedfan or... PC ProbeII...

i just wanted to know what all you guys use as a temperature gauge to see your cpu's temps. it'd help me . greatly appreciated.

i have creatde a special breed of spider monkey that has the ability to accurately sense temprature. I have also taught him to count in english upto 100 and every time i want to find my CPU temprature, i order him to touch the chip and he screams the number.

Thats what i trust.

i just use speedfan as it is virtually universal for all systems. CoreTemp only does Core2duo systems.

PC Probe since AMD X2 3800+ procs read from the TCase and not from the Core like the Core2Duos.

Sure way to check for temperature with C2D is to run the CPU until throttling. Most will throttle around 85C. I find Speedfan, CoreTemp 0.94, and RMclock to be quite accurate with E4300.

I am getting 38/33 on coretemeter v1.0 beta 4 and 37 on pcprobe 2. I can't seem to get speedfan to work on my computer right now.
