Depends. In the shower I prefer a bar soap, but for just washing my hands I prefer liquid.

I use bar soap, because its cheaper.

"I prefer McDonalds to steak because it's cheaper," said no one worth listening to ever. Liquid soap is more expensive because it is superior. The best soap is the bar soap with little flecks of sand in it that will scrub pine tar off duct tape, but for everyday use, liquid soap is the winner.

Depends on purpose. If I need a good lather, such as in the shower or if my hands are filthy from yardwork or car repairs I want a bar soap. If I just need something quick then liquid is easier. For bathrooms I'm even more partial to foam soap. It's not as messy as liquid soap.

Liquid by far. I keep a few bars of soap as backup but I like just having the 2 in 1 soap & shampoo combo.

I use cheap bar soap in the shower because it works well and it is cheap.

By the sink we use liquid hand soap, because thats what the woman likes and its convenient.

Woman uses her fancy "hand made" smelly soap, which does not make her any cleaner than my "irish spring" makes me, but, I can get 12 bars of irish spring for the price of her 1 hand made soap.
