What do you prefer?

Personally, I live about a hundred yards from the sea in the UK, so it's fair to say that I prefer the country.

What about you? Any particular reason?

I like a little bit of both. I've got corn fields and deer and wild turkeys within a 5 minute walk of where I live, and one of the nicer malls in Iowa and a ton of shopping and dining places within a 10 minute drive.

me too. thats how I grew up. the problem is no high speed internet available in the country except expensive crappy satellite.

If it wasn't for that I'd live in the country now.

Country but with the city a half hour drive away.
Me too, the problem is that in ten years, you're not in the country anymore. When I moved to the area I am right now, 27 years ago, it was rare to see another car when I pulled out onto the main road.

Now, when I leave for work at 4:45AM, the traffic light (which we had to fight three years to get) is blinking red. I sometimes have to wait 2 or 3 minutes to get a clear spot to pull out.

Used to be the country, ain't no more!

The city is a fun place to visit, and I do it often. But I prefer to live in the country...or a small town, to be exact.

i dont think the city will be coming to Jerramungup anytime soon (only 500kms from perth 😉 )

city for more businesses and for places to hang out

but ultimately it all boils down to whichever place that gets me better internet access. mostly its a city or suburbs.
