What do you prefer, Vanquish ? Or DB9 ? *Poll*

A freind asked me why would any prefer a vanquish over a DB9 ?

The V12 Vanquish costs £160,000 and the DB9 costs £103,000. Same sized engine, same BHP (cept the Vanquish S), what other advantages is there to the vanquish ? Clarkson never shuts up about how bad the gear box is, why is this ?

Theres nothing difference in performance either (cept the Vanquish S 520 BHP, lower ride height, stiffer suspension)

because when you're spending that much money on a car, you aren't going to be driving the car to its limits. you are buying it to show off the fact that you _can_ buy it. as such, why not get the vantage that looks much better than either the vanquish or the db9? who cares if it doesn't have as much power.

DB9. It's got a much better transmission and is a better deal overall.

Ohh and you asked about the gearbox.

Well, the DB9 gearbox is actually an automatic but can be controlled manually with paddles. It's well suited for this application.

The Vanquish has the same paddle shifters but they started with a manual transmission and put this feature on it. According to Clarksson it never really works that well. The gearbox is to weak.
