a jarb, after i finish up my undergrad this month. although im not realistically expecting anything until next year.

More knowledge.

I'm working on a book that draws heavily from and parallels ancient history. I'm about halfway through writing just back-story for me to keep timelines straight.

Im debating with myself whether I should study basic linguistics and create a new language. Maybe that's too Tolkien, though...

I don't get gifts really so i bought my own gifts already :3

Rollerblades (because i cant afford a car), a new tattoo, and a new comforter for my bed.

Now that im getting older im less interested in the whole getting stuff aspect. For me its more about spending the time with my family. I've got a lot of extended family I don't get to see any more as they've all moved out of state. If I had one wish it would be to get everyone back together one year for a big family get together.

Sumbitch...I wish I'd have had that 20-some years ago. We asked my mom what she wanted for Christmas...she said "Nothing at all this year."

So...that's what we sent her. (we did buy her some gifts...they were wrapped and under the tree, we just didn't send them to her.:) )
Come Christmas, she didn't have a gift from us...so she bitched at me for it...

I told her, "I sent you exactly what you said you wanted." <silence>

Then I told her, "we have your gifts here under the tree. Want me to open one for you?"
The next year, when I asked what she wanted for Christmas, she had a list of things to choose from. :biggrin:

Now come on zin...if you gift wrapped one for him...he wouldn't know what to do with it...and he'd just fap with the paper and ribbons.:whiste:

Why would she bitch if she asked for nothing? Most of the people I know in my family actually want nothing if they ask for nothing.

How old is he anyway? I mean after a certain point you would think he would just know what to do...

Because she was trying to be nice. "Oh, you can't afford to send me gifts, so send nothing.", even though I was working, making good money. In the past when she said, "nothing," we always sent gifts anyway...but without any idea what she actually wanted. (We had lived several hundred miles apart for several years and only saw each other every couple of years.)

I think he's about your age...and you'd THINK so...but it IS Schneiderguy...or Spunk Bubble as he's known elsewhere.:whiste:

Really? I thought I was one of the babies on the forum... Well maybe we can all pitch in for a fleshlight or something and EVENTUALLY he might find his way.
