What do you make of the sky trumpets? Is Revelations apon us?

Many evangelical Christians are ecstatic, because they believe that Revelations is near. The first sign? The trumpets will sound before Jesus makes his appearance.

There are sounds in the sky that TBH sound like trumpets. Has anyone come up with a reason why this is happening? Is it caused by natural events, or is it true.... Will non-Christians truly be left behind when the rapture takes hold?

Sounds kinda like a ship horn or maybe even a semi truck. I heard something similar a while back while out for a walk. It was kinda odd, I thought maybe it was a mine blast warning but I normally don't hear those here.

I have a feeling when the real trumpets sound, we'll know without a doubt what's going on. It's not going to be some subtle distant sound.

It is true, trumpets will blare during the Rapture however........ This "phenomena" was first reported back in 2011. There are a lot of Youtube videos claiming the same from 12 years ago. Supposedly the trend of hearing the trumpets began with a video of the trumpets blaring in KIEV, UKRAINE in 2011 freaking people out.

I think it goes back to the fact that we are mortal human beings who are on earth for a very short period of time. It's this fact that causes so many people to want to believe that there is something after this ONE life. Also, if you've been indoctrinated as a child that there is a heaven (for good people, and for people who believe in what you believe) and hell (for everyone else) than its very hard to let that idea go. That you're going to be rewarded aftet this life. Its why so many people hold onto faith and believe in religious myths. Like Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Tower of Babel, and the coming return of JC.

BTW, Hindus are waiting on the return of lord Vishnu. Imagine believing in a blue diety who will one day return?
