keystone cops down in Alabama. They keep showing the picture of the escaped convict with the beard and full head of hair when he is bald and clean shaven. What about releasing a current picture of Vicki and not from 20 years ago? This is Alabama, are we sure they aren’t related somehow?

Both have a last name of White. They are at least first cousins, maybe brother and sister by another mudder.

Fat, ugly, getting on in years, living with her mother the past 5 years. Probably lonely. She got snowed by this psychopath who whispered sweet nothings to her. She's ultimately going to end up either dead or in prison herself. If she isn't dead already.

I give it a year tops before this ends up as some kind of lame TV movie.

Weird twist .....

Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton says the vehicle used by inmate Casey Cole White and former corrections supervisor Vicky Sue White was found in Tennessee about an hour before anyone in Lauderdale County realized the two were missing.

The orange 2007 Ford Edge was reported abandoned in the Bethesda community of rural Williamson County, Tennessee, at about 1:55 p.m. April 29, about four hours after the two left the Lauderdale County Detention Center in Florence.

"They found the car before we ever knew they were gone," Singleton said.

Singleton said he believes it was mechanical issues with the vehicle that led Vicky White and Casey White to abandon the vehicle on the side of a rural county road a few miles east of Interstate 65. He said he's not sure how they left from there.

What law enforcement does know, he said, is that the vehicle was reported and towed to a lot at 2:37 p.m. April 29, about one hour before Vicky White and Casey White were reported missing. Days later, an alert with the vehicle's description was leaked to the public, and this alert triggered the tow truck driver's memory.

well there is supposedly a lifetime movie already in production about Gabby Petito's death so one about this started by years end wouldn't surprise me.

I now think they might have either hitched a ride with a white supremacist, or they might have hijacked a Uber using a stolen smart phone. In 2015, New York state police were able to find the two prison escapees within two days. Looks like Alabama SPD is much slower. There is possibility that the case might end up as a cold case, just like Alcatraz.

The official who announced their arrest seemed quite pleased with himself.

Guess she didn't want to do any explaining.

Nother article ....

Casey White surrendered without incident, Singleton said. Vicky suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and has since been hospitalized, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed to CBS News. Her condition is not yet clear.

Not sure if this is meant to be a joke, but the article in OP says 6'6" in two different places.
If it's a joke, work on your delivery ;)

Either way, we're talking Osama Bin Laden tall. He stuck out.

But they got caught, because they're stupid. She had 95k in cash. Somebody tell me why she didn't charter a plane, or even buy one? A used Piper Archer or Cherokee would run her about 25k. They were 2 hours from the Mexican border, and 26 MINUTES FROM THE CANADIAN BORDER! They would have lost in the mist if they possessed more than two active brain cells.

Vicky could've been laying on a beach in a thong, sipping a drink with an umbrella in it, if she had thought the whole thing through.

Stupid people disgust me.

She may have taken herself out of providing any explanations or facing possible criminal consequences as her gunshot injuries to the head are considered very serious. Well, if captured, her life as she knew it was over anyway.
