What do you like best, and dislike worst about your job (if you have one)?

For me, I like that I get to do whatever I want most of the time and get paid pretty well.

I hate that sometimes I get bored because there isn't enough to do (but then I just nef).


Bonus: Also reply whether you like your job or not.

PS: If you don't have a job then go away.

like the money and occasionally the work (programming)

hate the stress

overall, i dont really like it. i would much rather make %15 less like i used to but have %300 less stress like i used to

Likes:
- essentially am paid to exercise
- decent pay with guaranteed increases, full benefits, 401k and pension
- only work a fraction of the day
- I like the people I work for/with, and they like me

Dislikes:
- very physically exhausting
- early am shift - usually at work by 4:15 AM
- warehouse environment with no climate control. exposed to the elements.
- can be dangerous
- workload can be overwhelming
- management is retarded

Overall I love my job, and I've never been happier. I love going to work every morning.

Like:

Money
Not being micromanaged
Managing my own schedule
Initiative and hard work being rewarded
Ability to work from home
Being spoiled at conferences

Dislike:

Sometimes too many projects at once
Long commute (my own doing because of where I chose to live)
Sales guys promising something that a product can't do
Dealing with a few alpha-nerds in the company

Like:
- I get to help create the strategy for the future of the business
- Lots of change, and I'm the SME...means lots of challenging, rewarding projects
- Pay is very helpful, and the more I help the company succeed, the more I am rewarded.
- I have a great team, for the most part. Makes the management aspect a breeze...usually.
- There's a minor (10%) legal aspect to my job which satisfies my analytical side.

Dislike:
- Lots of politics at this level, and ideas that make sense or are cutting edge aren't always appreciated and leads to reduced intake of top talent and more red-tape (e.g. getting rid of performance reviews...always been a fan of that).
- Not much else.
