and what's your average winter heating bill?

I set mine down to 60 when I go to bed, and leave it there till I get home from work the next day, when I bump it up to 68-70 (and back down to 60 when I go back to bed... I'm not in the apartment long enough in the morning to raise it back up. I just do a mad rush to show and get out the door in like 20 minutes).

my heating bills have been averaging $80-90 since I moved into this 1-bedroom. it's a nice change from the $200-250 I was paying in my old apartment .

Basement 65, rest of house 72. If i change it more than a couple degrees, the electric backup heat kicks in and things become expensive real quick. I just leave them at the same temp.

75 or so

78 is about perfect though. Thats on usually 24 hours a day when I'm not out working flipping properties (which can be months at a time when I'm waiting for a sale).

Usually my bill is between $100 - $180

In the summer it's like $25 for all my electrical. Never ever use AC. I freaking love heat.

Heating: 67 second floor, 65 first floor, off in the basement unless I have company over. All turn off from 10:30pm to 6:00am and 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Cooling: 78 second floor, 80 first floor, off in the basement unless I have company over. All turn off from 10:30pm to 6:00am and 7:00am to 4:00pm..

The most I spend a month is $120-$130 for gas for 2200 sq ft in Connecticut, $90 for most of winter. Electric bill usually goes up $50-$60 in the peak summer months.

60º from midnight to 7:45am, 70º from 7:45 to 8:45am (gives me time to wake up and get ready with it being halfway warm), 8:45am to 4:30pm 60º, 4:30pm to midnight 68º.

Weekend is different. When I'm home I might crank it up to 72º to warm the place up in a hurry. Heat bill is right around $100. Not bad for a house built in the 50s in Minnesota.

Edit: Heat bill = natural gas bill, btw. My parents always referred to it as the "heat bill".

electric thermostat FTW!!!

64 at all times except from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm for heat

and A/C haven't lived long enough in this place to know what will work.

the bill ranges depending on how windy it is outside. The windows in my place need to replaced.

76, $0. My heat is included in my rent. They charge me way too much to live here, the least I can do is take advantage of it, haha

hmmm

70 when sleeping and 72-74 when home or awake, apartment building is only 3 years old so everything is brand new and well insulated. I think my last bill was only like 20 bucks for heat.

In the winter it's a bit lower than 70F for the most part. A little bit higher if that gets uncomfortable in the evenings.

And for the summer, I happen to be theo nly one with a window A/C unit in the house. (House doesn't have A/C) So, 65 or so in the summer. :p

During the winter 70 most of the time, but 68 when we're sleeping. I'd like to keep it set to 70 all the time since heat pumps aren't as efficient when you set them back, but 70 on the thermostat downstairs makes it way too warm upstairs.
