What do you keep in mind when you post?

I notice a lot of different posting styles here at AT, especially in the ATOT area. One thing I've noticed is that some people have a tendency to use proper grammar, punctuation, etc. Others have a tendency to post almost in the same way as they speak. I guess I fall into the former category, but I don't really think about it - I generally write as I speak (I tend to use proper grammar when speaking as well).

Anyway, how do you craft your post? What is important for you to get across when you post - humor? Intelligence? Or maybe, like pyonir, you just want to get the first word in?

Off Topic is like the ghetto of the Anandtech Forums to me. In the other forums I think pretty hard about my posts and try to be accurate. Here I just kind of kick back and blurt stuff out.

I think about my posts significantly. That is why I don't post often.

I usually just type away. If there is something that doesn't make sense or if I made to many grammatical errors I will edit it afterwards
