O.K.
My great-grandmother was full blooded Cherokee.
which makes me 1/8 in the very least.
add to that that I have various native american ancestory in the other branches of my family tree...i'd say im a good 20% Indian (I sat down and figured it out one time, im pretty sure it was somewhere around there)
now my question is...do i qualify as "native american"?
if not, what would you say is the minimum percentage you'd need to call yourself a certain race?
are there any laws written on this type of thing?
