Wash/Clay/Wax by hand of course

interior cleaning, and probably detail the engine bay. Buy new tires by end of the summer.

Going with the Conti DWS

If you are talking about the dot matrix on the back glass, my M3 has that. The best solutions are to paint them then tint or use vinyl on the inside of the glass prior to tinting.

There is a shop that is really good and mentioned online in some of the dot matrix threads, but I think they charge $500+ for an average car.

I am not sure what I will be doing in the spring this year, I may be moving so probably just minor things. I eventually want to do a 3.91 rear end or supercharge it...I am leaning toward the 3.91 as at a 0-60 in the 4's and a 13 second quarter I am pretty much quick 'enough'.

My car has that too but it hasn't been a problem with the tint. In 9 years of ownership it had to be retinted once (about a year ago) because it was bubbling and the place that did it originally replaced the tint under warranty so it didn't cost me anything. I did have them tint the front doors and the moonroof when they did the rear glass though.

Any plans for your cars this Spring/Summer?

No plans for the car other than a new set of tires. I just had it waxed last weekend at my local hand wash place. Been paying someone else to do it simply because I don't have the time.

Would like to get a new car but there really isn't any reason to do so right now. My car is paid for and it only has 110,000 miles on it and it is in excellent condition.

The bike will be needing some new tires soon. I'm going to spend a fair bit of time in the local mountains wringing the crap out of it this summer. ;)

I did just buy the Ducati comfort seat which proved to be worth its weight in gold as I rode it the 30 miles to work this morning. The stock seat kind of sucked. This one is much better.

Yeah, I'm looking at a top feed fuel rail, 1200cc injectors, an Aeromotive 340lph pump, a standalone ECU and a tune. I'd like to do cams as well...350-400whp would be fun. :D

humna humna humna! droooools. Aim at 450. seriously. you know thats what you really want.

Hahaha...would be nice, but unfortunately the bottom end build will have to wait until I have a house and garage (and spare $$$$ for a forged stroker). I have a very strong motor now and I'd rather not blow it up. :p

LOL at alky for assuming my car only gets detailed once a year. Ya I take it to those guys once a year but the rest of the time I do it myself. What those guys do is way more then you or I and most people could ever do. 200 is all I ever have to pay so you all can hate on me :awe:

I wouldn't throw your shortcomings on me, I used to do real details since I was 16. You may want to check out my detail supplies on one of the garage threads.

I can post up a shot later when i am not on my phone

2005 wrx

- stage 2 (complete the exhaust and tune)
- upgrade the brakes (kinda optional thinking legacy get ones for ease and cost)
- clean the shit outta it, haven't really washed it in god knows when and its just stupid dirty outside.

06 WRX's have the best stock brakes and suspension components for a US market WRX

That's what I was planning on doing, but my front ones are a bit rusted as well so I think I'll just do all 4 wheels. Legacy gt fronts are a bit larger and heavier than wrx ones.

I have to get my fenders pulled and rolled on my s2k, but i've been lazy. The 245's on my rears were rubbing at the track because of the offset on the enkeis. i'm going to bring the 245's up front (i only have 215's up front) and get 265's in the rear. i'm not sure if I like the rs3's either. I wasn't used to how quiet they were. On my previous yokohamas, I would get a nice auditory squeal on turns.

I'm in the market for 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 in a reasonable summer tire. I have my Volk RE30 ready for Spring.

Picking up a '12 STI Limited. Sedan. Silver.

I couldn't even get a test-drive. :(

Very likely I'll be selling both cars this spring...sigh...

what cha getting?

I'm sure you are a baller at detailing and everything else you claim to be. I'm also sure people where knocking your door down at 16 to get "real details". :p
