It retails for $5000+

Hmmm should I buy used or new..

I'd pay 1K for it but that's about it. I wear a Movado now, have a 6 figure income and can appreciate a decent watch but 3300 is just too much for any watch. I'm looking at this from the Millionaire Next Door POV. If you're going to wear this for 10 years than maybe but you're money is better off going other places.

If you are going to buy it, get the used one. It looks to be in very good condition, I can see the scratch he mentioned on the backside but it's not visible and you'll scratch it up worse than that overtime anyways.

Nice looking watch, but there's just something about used watches that turns me off them.

Very nice. And congratulations on breaking from the oversized, metallic, super shiny watches that everyone and their mother has.

a used watch is like a prostitute turned school teacher. it may work as instructed, but you can never leave it alone with a kid

Go with the used - $2K can by another 'spare' watch.

TZ is a great place to find a good deal on a 'used' watch. I've bought and sold about 10 there in the last year or so. Never had any problems myself. Always check the sellers references.

As for this one.... not my taste, but nice none the less. I would probably opt for a vintage Omega with a similar look myself, but then I collect Omega's.

Those are two of the most tasteful men's watches I've ever seen.

 to you for not picking the gaudy, oversized ugly pieces of crap they're trying to sell these days.

Yea, for real. Show us a pic of your house, bank account statement, and car.

You haven't seen how expensive Jaeger-LeCoultres can get. :p

By the way z0mb13, I think it's a good watch. I'd go for the first one. Then again, I like the dressy watches.

I am torn between these two watches.

The first one is definitely more luxurious/elegant (it costs more too :()

The second one is more plain and simple, but still shows some luxury. This one can be used daily as well (not a simple dress watch).

Yep I dont like those "sport" watches. They are seriously overplayed and most of them look alike.

Out of the 2 - both very nice and classy btw - I like the GO better - black and silver goes with just about anything IMO.
