What do you guys think of this portable battery?

I'm interested in this thing but I don't know much about batteries. Seems too good to be true; am I wasting my money?

I think:

• It looks like a decent design.
• I can't comment on the price. You could probably do something cheaper with a car battery or "deep cycle" battery, a trickle charger, and an inverter. But it wouldn't look as nice or be as light and portable.
• I'd want to be able to charge one with a solar panel. Or a wind generator. Basically any intermittent power source. I didn't see that option.
• The images on that page are way too big!

I guess with the tax credit it wouldnt be that bad. 2000Wh for $735. But still, once you get up over a few hundred dollars, a gas generator starts making more sense.
