What do you guys think of this letter( removal from lease)?

Basically, I moved out of my place(shared with roomates), and am just removing my name from the lease(FINALLY!) along with my co-singers obligations as well


Somehow I have to state that I want my co-signers olbigations voided as well (duh), but I don't know wher to put it....lil' help.

To whom it may concern:


Currently, ______and his co-signer, _____, are on the lease of Apartment _________ in the _____building. Mr. _____is no longer a resident at this location, and with the permission of all lessees, wishes to be removed from the lease and all related obligations. Below you will find the approval of all parties involved.


ACCEPTANCE

hereby accept the above statement and subject ourselves to all the promises and covenants therein contained. We fully understand that this agreement is contingent upon the continuation of timely payments on the lease and compliance with all the terms and provisions of the lease as before, except without the further involvement of _________.
