Those look nice, but I would prefer the 2 way Betas from Infinity for a bit more than that price.

Ebay Harman Audio

A lot of the stuff is marked as a refurb in the auctions, but it is actually new. The Beta C360 center speaker I bought there for $130 shipped from an auction and got from UPS today was NEW and not a refurb! They have it listed as buy it now for $319. Retails for $499, too. And I have bought almost 10k worth of speakers and gear from them before, and a lot was actually new and listed as refurb, too. Especially the speakers. I think most of the speakers listed are really overstock.

But UPS beat the crap out of the center of the box, and on the bottom was a huge hole in it. But they dumped it off at the door and ran away before I could even look at the speaker. Fortunately the speaker was completely unharmed. UPS listed this beast at 48 pounds. Fixing to try to figure how how to place it behind my new Sammy 46" LCD.

You did pretty good, the PSBs are nice. I prefer them to the Infinitys as they have a smoother sound. Depends on what you like. I've owned tons of different speakers, and PSBs rank pretty well for the price.

That's what I wonder. He really pushes that stuff. :(
I can underastand liking products (I'm a Paradigm fan myself) but I realize not everyone likes the same sound.
I think people stopped listening to him a while back anyway, especially after all the Monster Cable stuff.

I like my PSB Image T65s and C60, but those are in a totally different price range than the Alphas.

they are decent entry-mid level speakers. In terms of whether or not you will like them, only you will be able to tell us!

And if you don't like them, sell them to me for dirt cheap so I can have some test speakers :D

They wouldn't pay me a cent to promote products they are selling as refurbs that are actually new, would they? This undercuts their retail outlets and they would not want this commonly known. Thanks for being a sarcastic troll with nothing constructive to add to a thread, anyhow. :p

I think people stopped listening to him a while back anyway, especially after all the Monster Cable stuff.

All the "Monster cable stuff" was started by various forum trolls who try to push cheap garbage off on others as a quality product. I saw posters who bought this Monocable junk reporting how cables would stop working and they had to buy replacements. Funny how none of the cheap junk promoters seemed to notice those posts. You get what you pay for. And as I stated then, and now, if I can get Monster for the price of Mono, I will get Monster and a lifetime warranty. If you can't understand that, too bad.

And BTW most recently I found Accell PRO ULTRA HDMI cables to be a better deal for the quality and lifetime warranty involved than Monoprice is. I was able to buy 7 sets of various lengths of the Accell PRO ULTRA HDMI cables for the price of the cheapest Monoprice versions. People who regularly buy at Monoprice are just too lazy to shop around and want one search and one click gratification.

Hahah I'd be hardpress not to like them I think. They're just for listening to my CDs and watching my movies so it's not going to be an extensive setup (except for the music portion).

They look a lot like the old Infinity Ref 2000.1s (which I love). So if they are in that class then they are good. :)
