What do you guys think of the PC game GP3?

Hi,

I bought the game GP3 because I've heard good things about it, but I've been told recently to not bother with it if I have F1 2001.

Thoughts?

I still havn't opened it yet and can't decide whether to return it or not.

There's a couple things it does better than the other F1 games out there, but as an all around game I agree that F12001 is MUCH better.
GP3 has nice weather effects and AI, however everything else is pretty outpaced by other F1 games.
Check out the High Gear Forums, most of the people there look down on GP3, other than the ones that frequent the GP3 forum.
I tried it once and really disliked it, but different things for different people I suppose.

Thanks for the reply and link! I sort of need to decide on whether to keep this game. My 30 days on the return policy is running out here.

What I keep hearing is that GP3 isn't that great graphically, but it's very realistic in game feel and makes you really feel like your driving in a GP3. Does anyone else have anything to add?

I also have F1 2001 that I haven't opened yet, but plan to very shortly. Would I miss GP3 at all when I have F1 2001?
