I am starting to like Hyundais more by the minute. You get alot for the dollar. Just make sure they plan to keep it, as resale is crap.

well we all really liked it today, very comfortable and drives nice, and the tranny is cool, it can be used kinda like a stick but without the clutch pedle.

I think the elantra, tiburon, and especially the Elantra GT are GREAT cars, and offer tremendous bang for the buck. But, I think that Hyundai is taking a pretty big leap too soon with this one.

There's too big of a stigma against Hyundai at this time to be offering a $20k psuedo-luxury car.

They've pretty much got the entry level cars nailed, but they are making to big of a leap on the higher end. You're up there with Camry, Accord, Maxima, and some nice used German vehicles at that price point.

Well I suppose when you're driving it you won't have to look at it, cos it's hideous. :disgust:

<< It's a Hyundai >>

actually they did a nice job hideing that fact, the only place where it says Hyundai is on the trunk lid, no logo on the front, the rims have "XG" in the middle.

It looks like a cross between an Aztek and a $20,000 Bently. Wouldn't be caught dead driving one or any Hyundai for that matter.

I was in a new Hyundai Elantra and was pleasantly surprised by it. The styling isn't bad and the interior is put together nicely.

Even though the wheels are cast aluminum, they look like K-Mart brand plastic wheel cover replicas of a Buick Park Avenue's wheels.

Dennis Miller is never wrong :D

The truth of the matter is that the XG300 is an ugly rip of many other cars with ash tray wheels:p

I will admit to liking Hyundai's more and more because then wyst would never forget I said that and NFS4 would never talk to me ever again!

What's your opinion on the Hyundai Sonata? It seems to be receiving favorable media attention including car magazine reviews. This is the part where wyst jumps in and says, Fact: The year ending 2000 hyundai had the fewest DR's of any major manufactuer except BMW.

:p

I'd rather have a Hyundai over Chevy~ Ford~ ETC.. in the same pricerange..

I dont need to worry about shady recalls..etc...

Having a piece of mind that you wont die in a manufacturers defect is much more appealing to me.. than

Hyundai's past reputation....... + Hyundai has a better warranty over any American Car...

It might not be super fast.. but at that price.. for people on the budget and who needs a decent car.. it gets the job done.~
