what do you guys think of the guy barricading himself in his house. refusing to pay tax's?

there is a guy who is barricaded himself in his house with armed guards. He was convicted of not paying his tax's for like the last 10 years. He has said they are not getting him out alive and other crap like that.


so what should the cops do? just wait him out or rush in and blow him away (since that is what he wants)?

while i agree tax's are to high i think what he is doing its insane.

That is what I was thinking when reading the replies in this thread.

I am not brave enough to do what this man has done... but he has repeatedly stated that if they can show him the law that says he must pay taxes, he will do so. So far, no one has done so.

I'm just going out on a limb here but I'd think that the 16th amendment and the federal internal revenue code would just about cover this.

Maybe he's arguing that there's no explicit mention of anyone having to PAY the tax?

I bet he'd argue that it's not murder to shoot a man, as it's the bullet that killed him.
 
if he refused to pay taxes and then when the cops or other force came to make him pay or go to jail and he resisted with force....they could shoot him legally.
