What do you guys think of the GMC Yukon Denali?

My uncle just traded in his 2000 Yukon, for a 2004 Yukon XL Denali.

I personally think it's a beautiful SUV. Not that he really needs such a big SUV, it's still nice to have to pull his 26' boat around in the summer, and his ski-doo's during the winter time.

Apparently I heard those things had the same steering radius of a Honda Accord 😱.

So what are your opinions this SUV?

I don't have anything positive to say about SUV's and I doubt the ATOT Nissan club will either... They wouldnt let me into the Honda club with my lawnmower, so I can't speak for them...

I'm a mustang guy myself so... I dont discriminate, I hate ALL SUV's regardless of originating country.

Good luck getting someone to say something nice tho

My mom has had a Yukon XL Denali for a few years now, and it is a great SUV. I learnt how to drive on it, and it was a very nice truck to drive. I think that for the money, it is one of the best SUV's on the market. Not too great with gas mileage around town (what SUV is?) but is decent on the highway.

i like our excursion 🙂
pfft, only one Excursion? At one point my family had two Diesel Excursion sitting in the driveway that were daily driver's. Now those were SUV's. I still wish we had one of those, because they have the most comfortable interior of any vehicle I have sat in (probably has to do with the excessive room on the inside). Oh yeah, and chevy makes the Suburban, not GMC. The Denali is a definite step up from a Suburban (upgraded interior).

Alright, truthfully, that is disgustingly excessive. The Diesel gets much better mileage than that V-10. Also, don't knock the diesel. After around 5-10 minutes or so, it quieted down to probably quieter than that V-10. The only argument that you have is the smell, which isn't that bad. But I may not mind it because I have been around Diesel big-rigs all my life. Also, the diesel is less polluting than your V-10.

i'm not one who beleives that we're ripping a hole in our ozone layer.

🙂

lol, yeah. that V-10 must really guzzel.

<-------- Drives a 1.6l civic. lol... 600km on 25$ of gas 😀

It has the LQ9 in it.. that will be a wonderful engine with the 4L80 behind it to pull that 26 footer, the Denali's also have a bigger 10 bolt then the trucks do to 🙂

ahhh walleye you took the V-10 over the Stroke :Q

Neither am I, but that V-10 is sooooo not worth it compared to the Diesel.

What do I think of it?!?! Everytime I see one I think of Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. Make sure your license plate says "Fab 5" 😉

I think it's pretty nice, especially with the six liter V8 found in the Escalade. But the edmunds TMV price is $46k, for that money I'd get a BMW 330 performance package or maybe a new 530.

If I were to buy a conventional SUV, it would be a Denali. I love GMC - when it breaks, you get to use cheap Chevy parts. When it isn't, you've got a much more luxuious interior than the Chevy counterpart.

My vehicular choices are:
H1
Converted van
Yukon Denali

You environmentalist whackjobs can stay home - I live in the middle of bum-ass nowhere, and I can tell you with a great deal of confidence that our environmental situation is not as bad as they tell you on the news.
