What do you guys think of the Canon SD20?

Sweet looking tiny little cam, lack of optical zoom kills it for me, but its a present for someone else who wants a point and shoot and the price is right at $260

Anyone care to comment? How bad is the digital zoom? I know they've gotten better, but it will never be as good as an optical zoom...

In case you have any other recs, ii have $300 to spend, 4+ mp, compact size would be preferable.

The digital zoom on Canon PowerShots is pretty crappy, IMHO. If you want a small Canon under $300, I'd recommend the SD200 or even an A400 instead.

i second the sd200, but alot of general users who just point and shoot don't really mess with zoom or settings much.

my friend has the sd10 and it's pretty nice, he doesn't miss the optical zoom or viewfinder much.
