What do you guys think of Lock-On: Modern Air Combat?

I loved it, I thought it was great. very technical

I have an Asus A7N8X v2 Deluxe mobo, AMD Athlon XP 2500+ @ 3200+, an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card, and 2 x 512 MB Corsair Value Select PC3200 memory.

Will I be able to play this game or will it stutter unacceptably?

Also, is that 1.01 to 1.02 patch all I need to bring it up to current?

You will be able to play it ok, your system is comparable to mine, and mine ran it alright. Not good for SUPER HIGH settings or anything, but you shouldn't have any trouble.

Is the program buggy / prone to crashes and freezes, with the install cd and after patch 1.02?

I don't remember experiencing any crashes.

I had some random issues but I think it was because I only had 512 mg of ram, other than that I was happy

The problems with not having a powerful enough computer (so that the programs essentially stutters to a halt) haven't been a problem for anyone?

Maybe for someone who us running a geforce2, with 256MB system ram, and a 1.2Ghz Athlon.
