Although there may be better boards on the market, I have used a lot of FIC boards and never had a bad one.

I had an FIC SD-11 (for Athlon 650, then Athlon 950). Board seemed stable and consistent. Had 1 minor problem with NumLock Bios Bootup, but FIC guy in Taiwan wrote a new BIOS in one day which corrected problem. I was pleased with support. Not the best, but by far not the worst!

They make good boards on the 3rd try

or at least a bunch or revisions into the second.

I thik they rush to much.

I have FIC at the very bottom of my list. Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Abit, Soyo and Iwill are all names to consider.

I put AZ11's in clients budget computers. Havn't had a problem yet.

Although, for you I would probably say EPoX or MSI is better.

FIC sucks, there is no reason to buy one. Soyo and Epox usually make better boards for the same $$. Why anyone would attempt to save $20 on a MB is beyond me. I can see scrimping on sound, maybe video, certainly speakers, but a MB??

A guy at my local computer store swears by FIC boards. He says they are rock solid stable and he never has any problems with them. I have no experience with these boards.

I would prefer a different brand only because you can count on tech help here from users who already have prior experiences.

I've used a couple of their boards and no real problems with them. The SD11 took a little time to get it stable, but it is working fine.

I haven't used an FIC board since back when I had S7 platform (AMD K6-2 400). I think it was a PA-2013. It was a decent board, but nothing to brag about...
