Personally I think he is one of the most talented rappers I've ever heard. That's not to say he has had the most impact (which is certainly debatable).

I think the quality of his music has gone way up with the last two albums.

What do you guys think his best song is?
 
I think he sucks now. He was good when he got popular 5 years ago, and was good for 2 years after that. Now he just needs to stop.
 
Not sure, but he's definitely about 3x as smart as most of these freaking douche bags. I don't buy his stuff, or care for him at all as a person, but what little I have heard he's obviously far more talented than any of the other mainstream rappers, especially FITTY.
 
I actually like some of his songs.But then again some of his songs are crap. So im going to go with he is ok.
 
I think he is a decent MC. I like that he pulled himself up from poverty to stardom. The movie 8 miles was a decent movie to my surprise.

Here are some songs that I like: Stan, Mockingbird, Lose Yourself.

He is much better than those boy bands such as Backstreet Boys, NSync.

I think he's weird looking.

his older stuff was 'harder' but i think he's evolved a lot lyrically - i love some of the rhymes on Encore... he's a really talented rapper and a pretty good producer too but his style is too unique to the point that it gets kinda repetitive at times i'd say

Really he is quite a genius, and his raps are some of the best out there by far. I think his best work was from the Slim Shady LP mostly, because it seems the better he got the more he just wanted enjoy his fame and make fun of people. I still have gotten all his latest stuff and enjoy it, but definitely his older work was better than any other rapper out there.

hm actually I've heard almost all his albums. I've heard:

The Slim Shady LP
Marshall Mathers
The Eminem Show
one of his really old albums I forget the name
and of course his newest album which i deleted after 1 listen because it was horrible

but as i've started listening to actual skilled musicans, rap just has no place in my music listening anymore. Listening to a rap album you get absolutely no emotional impact at all. It's not real music.
