What do you guys think about the Cobalt Cube 2?

Seems like a nifty little server appliance in a cube!

Think it would be better of a value to just make my own little server?

Those things are QUITE old, use an arcane MIPS processor, and are stuck at the 2.0 with some light 2.2 backporting of the kernel. Other than that, it was great. At the time.

you'd be better off installing your fav linux distro (no gui), or one of the BSDs on a P166 or P200 box, with apache2 and whatever else you need.
