What do you guys think about the Airport mission in Modern Warfare 2.

If you dont know for that mission you are undercover with some Russian terrorist and you walk around in a airport killing civilians. When i was playing i thought this is slightly disturbing.

i went right to multiplayer but from what i've heard i'd probably find it extremely disturbing.

You don't have to shoot anyone in the terminal. It's only the security people you have to take down.

Meh, my conscience has never really extended into video games, especially when I'm not attached to the characters. Doing that in real life would make me sick, but in the game it was sort of fun - just shooting stuff.

I mow everyone down like it's my job, regardless of game. It's not different than driving down the sidewalks in GTA or Saints Row and watching people go flying. Even in games where I'm supposed to rescue people...first thing I can do is see if I can shoot kill them. "Your mission is to save this.." BANG! Dead. The only way people survive is if it fails the mission for killing them. Then I'll only kill them a few times and restart.

I forgot who posted it awhile back, but something about in Oblivion where they killed anyone and everything. To the point where it was hard to even find animals, and the game lagged when entering towns because of all the dead bodies. I haven't laughed that hard at a post in a long time!

In Postal 2 you could light a person on fire and pee on them to put it out. That was borderline disturbing.

I'm a bit surprised that they put that mission in there...doesn't really seem that necessary, but like most others have said it's just a game. The real question is how will younger and less emotionally developed people see it. I don't really believe that rock music, video games, ect, are the blame for the ills of society, but I'm no psychology professor. Guess it's better than lying and telling folks that this could never happen.

When I first heard about the level a few months ago, and eventually saw that French video of the mission, I admit I had an uneasy feeling about it. But when I got to actually play it, it really wasn't a big deal.

My first time playing that stage, I tried to mow down the the Russians but in turn failed the missions. 2nd round I just start blasting away.

It was overhyped and people made it into too much of a big deal. It's supposed to show you the horrors of war and immerse you into it. It's a morality lesson.
