What do you guys think about 2.4 GHZ WIRELESS Audio/Video Transmitters??? Do they work well?

I was wondering, do you guys know if these transmitters work well? I'm trying to display my comptuer screen on my t..v so i can make a home theater system like this. =)

anybody have any particular reviews/recommendations on a specific product?

I got a set of these from x10 a couple years ago and they work fairly good. You do take a hit on picture quality but its still fairly good. I would occasionally get some interference from who knows what, but it was fairly infrequent. However, using the microwave would send the tv into spasms.

I had a single dish network receiver downstairs, so I was using the transmitter to send the audio/video to a tv upstairs (which was better than paying another $5 a month for a second receiver). The receiver has a UHF remote so it was able to receive the remote signal from upstairs ok, although later I also bought a wireless remote extender to make it a bit better.

Overall I'd recommend it unless you are super picky about picture quality. Like if you sit fairly close to a huge display, you can't expect it to look as good as if you were watching the tv directly from the source.

they work pretty well. I would even dare say VHS quality.

I have one sitting in my basement unused since the 2.4 ghz frequency it was on happen to be affected by the $200 wireless phone set my wifey bought.
Bought it from the geeksabout a year ago.
