As someone that was in a motorcycle accidnet like this, person pulled out in front of me, people really need to look before they turn. Heck with gas prices what they are people are moving to smaler cars, and even motorcycles, now more then before so just don;t think "well i don;t see a 2 ton suv so it must be ok..."

Maybe people just busy and self centered. They should have stopped and helped. Given that, what could they have done? They didn't witness the accident and they weren't driving medical units.

First aid can save lives. But I concur with the bolded part.

List of things they can do:

1. 9-1-1

2. Help people out of car if they are in imminent danger.

3. Set up warning markers to warn oncoming drivers

4. Start CPR on motorcyclist if need be

5. Move motorcyclist out of the middle of the road.

the list goes on...

Man, that bike rider was doing superman right there. The drivers for the SUV and the cars behind it should've stopped and gotten out. The white car driver is retarded.

Good samaritan stuff can also cripple for life or kill. This is obviously in the city and professional help is probably close. Cover the vic, make he/she comfortable and wait for the guys with the lumbar board and cervical collars to arrive is the best poilcy. Unless the vic is obviously bleeding out and you can stop that with minimal ancillary damage. Drivers of other cars probably didn't want the financial risk either. They may have thought that help was either there or on the way as well.

And who is to say they didn't immediately get on the cell phone to 9-1-1.

It's my understanding that if you witness an accident you are required by law to stay until you can give the police contact information.

So these vehicles passing by could all be fined for leaving the scene of an accident.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case, though it could vary state to state. In most states, I'm guessing, is that "leaving the scene of an accident" only pertains if you were involved in the accident.

PS:

Driver of white car: total dumbsh1t. Why the fsck weren't they getting out of the car? I can't possibly see how they could have been injured.

Motorcycle guy: Soon to be very rich but very immobile

3 Cars behind white car: TOTAL DIPSHITS

Gas station customers: Blind, deaf, and dumb
