dunno much... except a local grocery chain supports it...

UKROP'S, the ultra conservative/religious family that runs it... very very clean... slightly expensive, and closed on sundays....
yes I shop there because it's close to where i live.....

My bank recently sent out it's newsletter which contained some info about 529 plans and UPROMISE was mentioned....I would assume it's legit. Then again, we all know what happens when you assume.

So many people still don't think it's legit, like all the grocery places around here support it, aol supports it, new york life insurance supports it, at&t supports it, gm supports it, and some other places I can't think of right now. If this wasn't legit, it would have to be the biggest scam ever!

While doing some research for another ATer I ran across the CitiBank Upromise Card, looks pretty cool, I'd look into applying for it.
