what do you guys/girls want when the new ipod is announced this year?

There likely will be a camera but unless they up the quality quite a bit, no amount of megapixels are going to help it. The picture taking quality of the phones and DAP's are crap. When it can take pictures that approach something like a low end $100 point and shoot from companies like Kodak, Olympus, etc. then we'll talk. Considering that some of these DAP's are $300 or more, it's not outrageous to ask for the equivalent performance of a $100 digital camera if they include one.

I completely agree with what you said - I made the mistake of calling my $150 camera midrange, when it is probably on the lower end of the spectrum, hah. Unfortunately, I would be surprised if Apple puts a great camera on the ipod touch...it prolly will just be the same as the 3Gs.
