It varies.

I usually don't eat breakfast. On a rare occassion, I will have something like cereal, a couple eggs, fruit, or pancakes.

Lunch: If I go home, a can of vegetable or chicken noodle soup and some crackers. Maybe a half turkey sandwich with some potato chips.

Snack: I really like jello with fruit, maybe a candy bar though. Depends on how bad the day is.

Dinner: My favorite dishes are pasta with marinara sauce, turkey sausage, boneless skinless chicken breasts, etc. If I do eat red meat, I like hamburger, but I have that maybe once every couple weeks. French fries, mashed potatoes, crispy crowns on the potato side. Green beans or corn on the vegetable side.

Snack: Usually is beef jerkey or fruit. I like something high in protein when I get done playing hockey.

Consume so much food? Here's a normal weekday.

First off, I start the day by doing ab exercises at around 5:45 am. I put in an 8+ hour work day. I leave work and head straight to coaching high school basketball. I'm both the freshman head coach and an assistant varsity coach. On both levels, I actively participate with the team. If they run a sprint, I run. If they run the offense, I run it. If they lift weights, I lift. That lasts from ~3:30 until 6:30 every day. From there, I hightail it to one of 3 men's basketball leagues I play in, so add another 1-1.5 hours of bball a night. To top it all off, I finish with another round of weightlifting and some cardio 4+ times a week. I usually get home after 9:30 pm every night. And that's just weekdays. Don't get me started on the weekends.

So I ask you . . . How do you eat so little? If I eat anything less than 3000 cals, I feel like I'm starving. I'm not some pansy-ass little attention whore who sits on the computer all day raving about how my sedentary lifestyle allows me to eat like a bird. Not everyone that eats more than you is either fat or gluttonous. There are plenty of people in this forum dedicated to eating healthy and living actively. I applaude them.

Typical weekday breakfast: Juice, Banana, Peanut Butter on Toast, Milk
Typical weekday lunch: Pretzels, Yogurt, Ham/Turkey Sandwich, Banana, Baby Carrots, Applesauce (all in that order)

I've been doing that for four years straight now. Evening and weekend meals consist of anything that I want (in moderation, of course).

breakfast: cereal, or pancakes+juice
on the way to work: coffee
snacks at work if I have them (usually pretzels, or a banana, or granola bar)
lunch between 11-1 somewhere: usually a sandwich, soda or water, and a cookie or something depending. pretty large sandwiches if I eat out.
most water till 5-6 where dinner comes in.. and i usually try to find something to snack on by 9 or so... really should eat fruit or something, but it's usually something bad for me :)

shredded wheat / fruit every morning.
Sometimes same thing at dinner, if I don't feel like cooking.

I dont do that much in the winter... Just ski and sometimes snowboard, but between spring and fall I typically will run 20 miles a week and ride my bike another 10. I am not "sedentary" I just havent ever needed to eat much.
