in 2000 i bought my first car - an 89 accord LX. I liked it though I got extremely unlucky with repairs on it. it cost me a fortune, but the retractable headlights were nifty

I have a 1990 Ford Bronco. I bought it because I love having an SUV size vehicle, and the bronco is very nice inside and I love the exterior shape of the earlier fords. I paid $6,250 for it with 130k Miles on it. 351 V8. the main reason I bought it is because of the brute force of the 351 and its 4x4 capabilities

Note to self: next time buy the 302, not 351. it will save me $40 in a gas a month...seeing as how I get 6 to the gallon right now..

<< 1988 Honda Accord LXi. It was free, parents were tired of it after 10 years, so they gave it to me when I got my license in 1998. I like the novelty of having a sedan with retractible headlamps, plus I like the car because it's unique, it may be the last non-riced, non-POS 3rd generation Accord remaining in existance. The PGMFI engine is very nice too, for 1988 they re-designed the exaust and the FI engine went from 110 to 120 hp. The carbbed engine (DX and LX) had 98 hp.

Nope. It's the 119 cid 2.0 litre A20A3 12 valve (3 valve/cyl) aluminium head engine. The 1.6 was only 1976-1978 Accords, after that only in Civics. The 1.8 was 1979-1985. 2.0 was from 1986-1989 and was also used in the Prelude until 1990 I think (2.0S and 2.0Si models). 2.2 litre engine from 1990-1993.

95 Pontiac Grand Am. Never even crossed my mind to look for anything but a GM or look any place besides a GM dealership. She's served me well for 7 years and has 97,000 miles on her. One major service bill to have it "tuned up" at 50,000 miles. Other than that, I've invested a few sets of brakes in it and 1 alternator (3 weeks ago). When she goes to the junkyard in another 3-7 years, I'll head back to a GM dealership for another Pontiac or Chevy. I find no reason to buy an overpriced Toyota, Honda or any other foreign car.

This car is STILL amazing after owning it for nearly 8 months. 0-60 in under 6 seconds, seats that feel like they should be in a Ferarri F1, AWD that plows through snow like my old Jeep did....basically I wanted a pratical sports car, and this more than fits the bill. I love nothing more than pulling up next to 18 year olds in Mustangs and Camaros and bloing their pants off They outrun my up to around 20MPH, then the turbo kicks in and WHOOSH....I'm gone. The last guy I did that to was in a 99 Mustang, and he wanted to know how I moded my car because he's never seen a "POS Subaru go that fast".....hehehehe, he appearently never heard of the WRX before. Anyway, amazing performance in a $25000 car that's LOADED, gets decent gas millage, and it still fits a car seat and two kids in the back seat. Best car I've ever owned!
