I keep them. I've found that if I do sell them or get rid of them, I end up wanting to watch them later, and it drives me crazy because I can't find them.

I'm a packrat, but with a catch. I love spools. I back up virually every disc I own. If I decide to give away a DVD I don't want anymore, trust me, if suddenly, 5 years from now I wish I still have it, it's probably on one of my CD spools. ;)

We talking about movies or old backups or something like that?

If its movies, ill keep it cause it makes my collection look good. Old backup or some data I had to write to dvd, then its just thrown away.

You gotta do like FS/FT traders do: Buy the DVD, Burn it, then sell the original & get some of your money back!

I have some I haven't watched in forever - I'll come across them, and tell myself 'hey I need to watch that again' and then forget about it until the next time I find them by accident. So they haven't moved in about a year. :)

I recently got a quote for selling 6 cheap dvd's to dvdplanet.com's used service for around $26. I'm not sure how smooth it will go, but if they take them all then I've got a nice down payment towards the Alejandro Jodorowsky boxset coming out in a few weeks.
