What do you do when you realize you're getting old?

Ever since I was a teenager, I've felt like I was at least sixty. Now I'm REALLY starting to feel it. I've never been into social gatherings (except to break down the psyches of those attending). I don't like much new music (I like my old stuff - I'm going to be one of those people that the teenagers meet and think, "God, she's stuck in the 90's!") When I was one of those teenagers, I used to think I'd somehow avoid it... I thought I was hypercritical and openminded then... But you should hear my brain go to town breaking everything down logically into microchasmic details. I got told at work by an irritatingly immature nineteen year old that I'm so...(she couldn't think of the word, proceeded to define it until the gal next to her said, "Precise.")
The moral: Does this go on forever/am I doomed to wind up on top of the highest mountain in the world with scraps of clothing around my waist for clothes answering questions about the meaning of life???? ARGH! What do you do on Saturdays when you're old? (Movies are going to get old)

Go out some, open up to what this newfangled generation deems the norm. Most importantly, don't get stuck in the past, but don't lose sight of who you are and what you enjoy either.

old folks can still party, hit the clubs, hang out with close friends, drink until they puke. Just not as often. Enjoy your time, once you have a kid and SO , you'll really be doing nothing for many weekends at a time :)

There's the problem... I just moved to a different state, don't know anyone, don't know anyplace to go, not into hockey (which is popular here for some reason), and I can only think of one thing to do for fun... (go out to eat at restaurants I've never heard of)

Oh, and thankfully, I don't have kids, hate the things (unless they're not mine and are really cute/smart). I get really annoyed by kids. I'm NEVER having them. Thankfully my better half agrees completely with me.
